Get to know the history of the so-called “City of
Planks,” the entry point for western culture and the
Catholic religion. See
the historic Colonial-era buildings and hear the story of
"Chucho el Roto" in the fortress of San Juan de
Ulua. Visit the Veracruz Aquarium, with its impressive ocean
tank, shark tank and the new home of the manatees.
TOUR OF TAJIN-PAPANTLA
Duration: 12 hrs.
Tajin was the most important ceremonial center of the
Totonacan culture. The
layout and services at these wonderful ruins will make your
historical experience a pleasure.
Observe the ritual of the pole flyers of Papantla
while you enjoy the aroma of the region’s vanilla, the
taste of its liquors and the beauty of its original art.
ARCHEOLOGICAL TOUR
Duration: 8 hrs.
An interesting passage through the paths of the Quiahuixtlan
archeological zone. See
the remains of perhaps the most important pre-Hispanic
cemetery from before the time of Columbus.
You will visit Cempoala, where you can enjoy the
temples dedicated to the rain, the sun, the moon and the
air. Enter and
see the “Circle of the Warriors” where the first
strategic alliance between the Indigenous and the Spanish
took place. Visit
“La Antigua” where you will find Cortes’ house and the
first Catholic hermitage on the American continent.
TOUR OF TUXTLAS-CATEMACO
Duration: 12 hrs.
After crossing the bridge that spans the port of Alvarado,
our tour begins with a multi-sensory visit to one of the
cigar-manufacturing shops in San Andrés Tuxtla. Continuing on, we will visit the "El Salto de Eyipantla"
waterfall where we will replenish our energy for our visit
to enigmatic Catemaco. We will visit the island of the
monkeys, the island of the birds and the Nanciyaga nature
reserve. Come face to face with authentic witch doctors.
Without a doubt, this is a place full of magic and
bursting with nature!!
